Artist Spotlight – Julie Kurzenberger
Over the past several weeks, artist Julie Kurzenberger painted several new pieces of artwork on canvas utilizing acrylic paint, as well as enamel and mixed media.
In the artist’s own words:
“In the summer of 2026, I was inspired to buy some acrylics & play on canvas. It was an exceptionally impactful year, where my conscious mind became more aware of imbalances with my heart’s desires. Aligning them, my perspectives on life, love, and energy were transformed, alchemized into inspiration, authenticity, and eventually a contented peace. What may hinder people from actualizing their dreams & creative interests may be that old inner narrative, telling us all the reasons why not. We can ignore archaic programming and tune our thoughts to the station that motivates and brings joy, even bliss. Then, we can share what we found.
Please enjoy this little collection of my new acrylic pieces (with a dab of mixed media). It’s a celebratory branch into areas long stashed away, finally putting some ideas into physical form. It’s really bringing me joy, so I hope you like what I have so far.”
