Lost Lands Music Festival 2026 Review and Photo Gallery – All Who Wander Are Not Lost
by Liam Joy
Lost Lands is where pure PLUR is found! The love and energy shared amongst the nearly 100,000 attendees was electric. With over two hundred artists representing every corner of the world including Ohio, the ninth annual Lost Lands Music Festival was definitely one for the ages – the prehistoric age, the Jurassic age… even the Triassic age!

This year’s festival at Legend Valley Concert Venue brought artists from all over the world, including special guests The Chainsmokers and secret takeovers at the crater stage from Kayzo, Subsidia, and DRINKURWATER B2B Benda to name a few. Many DJs played around with mixing styles they’re not typically known for, experimenting with beats their fans had never heard from them. “I love the diversity and different sounds to not keep it too monotone with the style” said Brandon, who flew all the way from California to attend.

Though Lost Lands took on many names this year like Mud Lands, Flood Lands, and Swamp Lands, the rain couldn’t dampen the vibes. The grounds team did a fantastic job laying gravel and taking the measures to keep us all as safe as possible while keeping the party going. Those watching from Couch Lands saw the festival grounds become a mudslide as Saturday’s afternoon storm rolled in.

Attendees piled into their cars, huddled under tents at the campground, and hung out at the rest stop where the shuttles waited for the green light to re-enter. People you otherwise wouldn’t have met offered space under their canopies and traded Kandi over a shared bag of vending machine Hot Cheetos. Once we were all allowed back in, the sun warmed up the festival and the party continued. Although Sunday came to a close much earlier than expected, Excision ended the weekend with a two-hour closing ceremony that many deemed his best set ever to date!

The Prehistoric stage definitely took the cake when asking fans which stage was their favorite. Featuring a Tyrannosaurus Rex skull that moved and created smoke effects, adding to the grandiose that makes Lost Lands incredible. One attendee commented “the detail, layout, and sound quality can’t be beat. Excision upped the game with this stage.” The Prehistoric Stage and Wompy Woods utilized colored drones to create beautiful aerial art. We would like to extend a huge shout out to the drone team at Lost Lands for adding that extra layer to an already incredible visual experience.

If feeling bass drops coursing through your bones isn’t really your thing, there were plenty of other experiences to be had. Chomp Steakhouse menu consisted of steak, A5 Wagyu, dino-themed cocktails, and many more fine dining options. A small, bell-shaped tent was hidden in the forest providing delicious tea, calming decor, and a serene escape from the lights and sounds. I personally recommend Island Noodles and a slice of the Gnarly Marley from I Heart Spicy Pizza, as well.
All of us at OhioJams also congratulate Excision and his family on their baby girl on her way! Best wishes that all of Ella’s cravings are satisfied, you get as much sleep as you can, and she arrives healthy and happy. We’re already looking forward to next year when we get to celebrate a decade of Lost Lands!
